Photo I: Basic Photography

Either you've recently purchased a camera or you've owned a DSLR for years. All you need now is direction on how to use its features and functions to create interesting and powerful images. This course introduces beginners to the creative and technical possibilities of digital photography: going through aperture, speed, ISO and the various shooting modes. Using demonstrations and hands-on sessions, students learn the basics of using cameras to produce digital photographs. Lectures on history will help explore creative approaches to photography, and exercises will help explore the creative possibilities of using their cameras.

About the Instructor
Dennis Balangue is currently the On-Air Graphics Manager of Studio 23 Inc. His photos have been published in Photolife Canada, Travelife Asia, Lifestyle Asia Travel Magazine, Manila Bulletin, Men’s Health, Sense and Style. He had also finished e xhibits include Presence A Duet In Perspectives (Singapore), Subway Scenes in Europe (Baguio) and Duo Show with Joel Bondoc (Makati). He’s also done album covers for several artists.
