Topics are presented in a manner intended to simplify complex techniques and include manual operation of camera controls, shot types, camera movement, file types, basic editing, and managing projects and commissions. Students learn: -How to get ready to shoot video with your DSLR Camera -Aspect ratio settings -Managing frames per second (FPS) -How to control temperature, the Kelvin (white balance) -Functions of aperture and shutter in video -Effects of different ISO settings in your video -Customizing the picture style for video -Choosing your rigs (tripod, monopod, glidecam, glidetrack, crane) -Setting the audio (internal or external) -Choosing lenses -How to do the musical score -How to make timeline preparations -Transition and Effects -Workflow of a 1-man shooter (baptismal, kiddie party, debut, wedding) -Basic Video editing -Rendering the final output Prerequisite: The workshop does not show you how to use the camera. Participants should understand the relationship between shutter speeds and f-stops. About the Instructor Val Bunao established his career as a freelance wedding photographer in 1989 and continued serving other studios up to present. In 2006, he tried editing wedding videos of other studios and eventually switched from wedding photographer to wedding videographer. He made he’s 1st one-man same day edit wedding video in 2008.
