Digital Black & White Photography

When there is no color, it is the photographer's task to use visual tools such as tonality, composition, contrast and lighting. This course will benefit those who want to explore the technical as well as the creative possibilities of B&W photography. Hands-on activities and class discussions will focus on the various methods of producing images such as exposure, conversion and looking at a scene in monochrome.

-Subjects: people, landscape, architecture, travel, still life
- Basic photography and knowledge of camera’s Manual mode
- DSLR camera or point-and-shoot camera with manual settings

About the Instructor
Dennis Balangue is currently the On-Air Graphics Manager of Studio 23 Inc. His photos have been published in Photolife Canada, Travelife Asia, Lifestyle Asia Travel Magazine, Manila Bulletin, Men’s Health, Sense and Style. He had also finished e xhibits include Presence A Duet In Perspectives (Singapore), Subway Scenes in Europe (Baguio) and Duo Show with Joel Bondoc (Makati). He’s also done album covers for several artists.
