You will be taught how to start defining what your goals are, how to make marketing strategies, and how to position yourself to your clients. Topics such as record keeping, getting paid, and managing your income will also be discussed. Whether you've been shooting for years or you're a serious amateur ready to take the next step of becoming a pro, you will be benefiting by knowing relevant business practices in the industry. About the Instructor Heidi Aquende established a career as an editorial and commercial photographer in 2006. Her works have been published in Cosmopolitan, FHM, Chalk, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Philippine Star, Women’s Health, Total Girl, Men’s Health, Masigasig, among others. And she has done commercial work for Ponds, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Haagen-Dazs, Old El Paso, Information Gateway, Arla, Land O Lakes, Philippine Basketball Association, Habitat for Humanity International, No Curfew, among others. She has exhibited both of her photographs and paintings. Heidi took up courses at the International Center for Photography in New York.
